BUMPDATE (31 Weeks!)

Baby's Growth: This week Connor is the size of a Pineapple! According to thebump.com he should be between 15.2 and 16.7 inches long and weigh between 2.5 and 3.8 pounds!

How I'm feeling: How I'm feeling honestly depends upon the day. I don't feel terrible but some days I definitely don't feel great. Some days I'm very uncomfortable and sore and other days I feel pretty good overall. I do have braxton hicks almost daily now and those definitely aren't my favorite part of pregnancy. I did get a 30 minute prenatal massage last week and that helped me feel so much better. I'm hoping to get another one before this pregnancy ends.

Cravings: There is a restaurant in Tulsa called Tally's that has the best cinnamon rolls ever. I've been craving one all day today! I've also been craving ice, which is weird, but I've stopped questioning my cravings.
While in Tulsa last week, I had THREE different sno cones! It was everything I've dreamed about for months.
Since I've blogged about sno cones several times, I decided to take a picture to share with y'all.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Sleep: The last few days I've slept really well. I still wake up at least once each night but so far I haven't had any trouble going right back to sleep.

Miss anything? Is it too soon to say sno cones? :)

Clothes: All maternity.

Movement: Connor is moving more and more each day. Earlier today Brooks was playing Eric Church on his iphone and Connor went crazy. This little boy either loves or hates country music.

Gender: BOY!

Belly button in or out: Still in!
Wedding rings on or off? I've officially retired my wedding ring and am wearing my nana's wedding ring instead.
Favorite moment this week: This past weekend I went home to Tulsa and I had absolutely the most perfect weekend. It was so nice to just relax with my family. My cousin/close girlfriend Ashlee and close friends Becca, Devon, and Whitney also hosted the most perfect baby shower for me. It was truly the most perfect day. I could go on and on about it and I have so many great pictures to share that I've decided to dedicate an entire blog post to the shower which I will post later in the week. These girls really outdid themselves. Connor and I are so spoiled and loved.
Most looking forward to: Our next baby appointment on Friday! It's always a good day when I get to hear Connor's heartbeat.

BUMPDATE (30 Weeks!)

Kaya and Bridget decided they wanted to be in the picture :)

Baby's Growth: This week Connor is the size of a cucumber!

How I'm feeling: I've accepted that I'm going to be uncomfortable from here on out. I've also started experiencing braxton hicks contractions (those are no joke!). My hormones are also all over the place. If you know me, you know I'm an avid dog lover. Twice this week I saw posts on facebook about dogs who have passed away (mind you I had never met either of these two dogs) and I bawled both times. Total cry fest.

Cravings: Still cherries. And I'd still love a big piece of texas sheet cake. And a piece of bread with butter. Now I'm hungry.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Sleep: I tend to toss and turn and I wake up at least once during the night...maybe my body is preparing me for all the sleepless nights that are ahead?

Miss anything? Wine. Yep, I still miss it.

Clothes: All maternity.

Movement: I swear this little boy likes to do flips. He moves all the time and I love it :)

Gender: BOY!

Belly button in or out: Still in!
Wedding rings on or off? I've officially retired my wedding ring and am wearing my nana's wedding ring instead.
Favorite moment this week: I got my hair done today and let me tell you, having someone else do my hair while I relaxed was pure heaven.
Most looking forward to: Traveling to Tulsa this weekend! I can't wait to visit with family and friends and eat as many snow cones as possible!

BUMPDATE (29 Weeks!)

Baby's Growth: This week Connor is the size of an Acorn Squash! According to thebump.com he should be between 15.2 and 16.7 inches long and should be weighing in between 2.5 and 3.8 pounds.

How I'm feeling: I'm officially uncomfortable. I waddle (Brooks says when I walk I look like a penguin. Sweet, huh?) and I've been feeling very short of breath lately. Getting out of bed is also a new challenge. I like to compare myself to a turtle that's turned over on her shell. Honestly though, the only thing that's really bothering me is the shortness of breath. Other than that, as long as Connor is healthy I can waddle for another 11 weeks.

Cravings: Cherries and applesauce. I could still totally go for a piece (or three) of Texas sheet cake though!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Sleep: I wake up several times a night now because a certain little boy loves to rest of my bladder but other than that I'm sleeping ok.

Miss anything? Wine. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it.

Clothes: All maternity. Have you seen me? :)

Movement: Connor is definitely a mover. He has been moving quite a bit lately. He especially moves around a lot right after I eat. He moves more in the afternoon and evenings than he does in the mornings so maybe he isn't a morning person (neither am I so that works for me).

Gender: BOY!

Belly button in or out: Still in!
Wedding rings on or off? I've officially retired my wedding ring and am wearing my nana's wedding ring instead.
Favorite moment this week: I took my first prenatal yoga class last Saturday and really enjoyed it. I'm hoping to go again soon!
Most looking forward to: I have a lot to look forward to over the next few days. Tomorrow afternoon I have another doctors appointment so I'll get to hear Connor's heartbeat and see how he's doing. I love my appointments because it's like I get to check-in with him :) It's also restaurant week here in Pittsburgh. If you aren't familiar with the concept, restaurant week is when many restaurants throughout the city offer special menus (usually three or four courses!) at a discounted price. It's a great opportunity to check out new restaurants or even eat at restaurants that would normally be reserved for special occasions because the prices are so much more affordable. Brooks and I know our time of eating out (especially at the fancier places) is limited, so we have made reservations at THREE restaurants between Thursday and Sunday. We are really looking forward to some fun evenings out. Also, this Saturday we are going to a friends house for a BBQ. Pregnant lady plus good food and friends = happiness. This is shaping up to be a fabulous weekend!

BUMPDATE (28 Weeks!)

Baby's Growth: This week Connor is the size of an Eggplant.

How I'm feeling: I'm starting to get fairly uncomfortable. Bending over is a chore and I haven't been sleeping that well. I'm uncomfortable and tired...I hope this doesn't mean I'm too grouchy :)

Cravings: Cherries.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Sleep: The past week sleep has not been the most restful. I'm waking up more  frequently and finding it harder to get comfortable. I also can't rest on my back for long periods of time because I get short of breath. The joys of getting bigger I suppose!

Miss anything? Just being comfortable. Being able to bend over with ease or curl up easily to fall asleep. Pregnancy is beautiful. I'm growing a human, I think that's miraculous - but it is hard on the body. Hug your mom, this pregnancy thing (while miraculous and something I would never trade for the world) is not easy.

Clothes: All maternity.

Movement: Oh yes! Connor loves to move.

Gender: BOY!

Belly button in or out: In!
Wedding rings on or off? I've officially retired my wedding ring and am wearing my nana's wedding ring instead.
Favorite moment this week: Brooks and I went to one of our favorite pizza places last Friday night and just relaxed. I'm loving our date nights and we are trying to get in as many as we can before Connor arrives.
Most looking forward to: A restful weekend! We have been so busy lately that I'm looking forward to a fairly relaxing weekend. I also signed up for prenatal yoga and my first class is this Saturday. I'm really excited to get started and hopefully learn some techniques that will help ease the aches and pains that come with pregnancy.
